MASTODON To Perform On 'Late Night With Conan O'Brien', Open For TOOL

MASTODON will make its first national television appearance on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" on November 1. With a Wednesday night viewership of 2.4 million, this is major television exposure for the Atlanta fan favorites, whose critically acclaimed Reprise Records debut album, "Blood Mountain", has sold 33,000 copies in the United States since its release two weeks ago.

Immediately following their appearance on "Late Night", MASTODON are off to Europe to begin a tour opening for rock behemoths TOOL, with stops across Europe at major arenas. "We are honored and elated to be joining TOOL for their European tour," the band said in a statement. "Having the privilege to share the stage with such an inspiring and admirable artist will truly will be a unique experience for MASTODON — a dream come true."
